Just watched this go for $2425: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-LON...%2BmKPrrE7%2FeoNUd8gI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=ncPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network A nice example of an 18ct 9025 from 1966, but not perfect. The medallion is missing some paint and the watch shows a tiny bit of wear. Overall a nice watch, I just didn't expect it to sell for over $2200.
Ditto. Thing is, usually these come along one or two a month, but there hasn't been a decent example in about three months.
Not in my opinion! But I'm a little biased. The caliber 291 might be one of the best automatic winding systems ever. Ranks with the Pellaton in my book.
Funny that you mention that, as the hands, which suit the elegant, elongated markers beautifully, are one of the unique features of the Flagships that I find attractive!
Fully agree. Attractive and a little out of the ordinary. The minute and second hand just reach the minute track, so quite functional.
I paid 2,450 for my date at 12 about four months ago. Feeling very good about that purchase right now. Although this example does have all of its paint.
There's a little black missing on the lettering which can be filled relatively easily. The blues are intact which is the important part.
