I have searched the web and usual haunts trying to find some information on this beast, but nothing pertaining to the ref. or cal. comes up anywhere. Is there a resource that I’m missing? I even asked my quasi pal and local Rolex dealer if he’d take a look and he came back with nothing, although my thoughts are he didn’t try very hard.

If anyone has any info and wants to share, I thank you in advance.

I greatly appreciate that. It appears to come from the 1970’s- which is not what I thought at all.
On general style I would immediately have put it in the '70s. It's a nice looking watch, I'd wear it.

I agree it’s a very nice looking watch, I just don’t do the yellow gold much.

Well, I can only say dibs please. And me with only one "gold" watch and that plated (but still an Omega).

I do have my grandfather’s gold Hamilton, which I go to a few times a year, but this Omega Seamaster is the main yellow one that I feel I can get away with.
