It kind of depends on what you are looking for. Both have refinshed dials. I think you can do better putting all your money on one good watch

. As a newbie, how can I tell if the dial has been refinished?
I'll take you advice. I have another I'm watching.

    Opinions?

I like this watch, while technically not a pie pan, it is a classic guilloche TT. The watch seems in good condition. The winding bridge is of a different hue then the rest of the movement and may have been replaced as the two pivots on it can wear, however replacement is not certain as I seen this piece discolor when the rest have not, on movements I knew were all original. The serial number appears right for the model. The 354 bumper is a favorite movement of many collectors. In fact I am wearing one like it right now. Runs very accurate. The crown is incorrect, but that is very minor and easily fixed. I also like that it is stainless. It may go for more then you want though.

::confused2:: I think you got the two mixed up Steve. The one you replied to:

is a pie pan. This one:

is the waffle guillochè dial and I'll agree it seems pretty nice. I'll also agree it would be a stroke of luck to snag it under a grand.

ps - I do like that two tone pie pan 168.005 and you might get that just under your budget.

I'd say you'd be doing well to grab it around $1200. Could sell for $1400-ish. Wait for a couple more opinions though.
