There’s a dome dial dogleg constellation newly listed on UK eBay at the moment. It appears to have a rather nice dial and the gold cap case isn’t too bad but has seen some polishing. Nice medallion and a clean movement (with some signs of rotor rub.) However, the dial is the ‘missing text’ version which finished around about 1962, whilst the movement is from ‘66/‘67. The two certainly didn’t start life together but that doesn’t appear to have been mentioned in the listing, so if anyone is thinking of bidding please take this into account when you place your bid. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-Go...903748?hash=item2623d4c484:g:L7QAAOSwM3hdTIYFPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Never bought a watch from him and not knowing anything about him, one of his watches had a good review at @Spacefruit s August post: http://speedmaster101.com/blog/august-ebay-speedmasters/ Mismachting parts as pointed out by @Peemacgee is of course not acceptable! Will shurely not buy from him in future!
It would be great if eBay let you make notes directly on the postings or linked to sellers (visible only to yourself).
Nice spot - quite ironic then that the three Omega magazine images used in the eBay description all have the 3 lines of text under ‘Omega’
