Found this online last night... seems ok to me, any expert can confirm if all original? And why this dial doesn't have onyx insert on it? and what should be the original band on this ref. watch? 1137/12?

    Thanks guys!

Dial looks original to me, but has some patina. Yes, some dials do not have onyx markers.

    Case and crown are correct.

Can’t comment on movement without pictures.

Original watchband would be leather with “beads of rice” style optional addition.

Thank you Sir! and here is a movement pic...:thumbsup:
For the beads of rice, should it be 18mm? I see there are two types, one with flat rice......which one should use on this watch?::facepalm1::

    Thanks again

Movement looks OK, most typical bracelet would be the one in the center of the photo, 18-mm.

I think for this watch it would be the one on the right. Not easy to find in steel, most are gold-plated.

Movement is correct for the watch. Crystal looks original, now that I see it on a real computer screen, but needs a good polish.

If the price is right, should be a go.

Really? I find that the more angular links og the 7-link BoR work better with the dogleg Constellations, while the rounded links of the 5-link version are more suited to the softer lugs of the earlier refs.

@Seacow, I think that watch will clean up very nice - especially a crystal polish/change will help immensely...

I have to agree with @X350 XJR and @ConElPueblo
I associate the rounder BOR with earlier styles and the 7-row flatter links with doglegs.
    Not that I’m biased....;)

Lovely Constellation! There isn't really a correct bracelet or strap for these, the customer was given the freedom to select what they wanted when they made the purchase. I've even seen these on flat link bracelets. And the lack of onyx markers isn't unusual.
