I’m considering buying this, but I noticed that the logo was missing under the Seamaster picture on the back. I would be interested to know peoples thoughts.

Many thanks from a new member

Some Seamaster De Ville case backs had an Ω below the seahorse, except for when they didn't, which was often. That's just how Omega did things.

Your watch is perfectly authentic, possibly a 166.020.
It may have been redialed (based on my view of the alignment of the word automatic on the dial), hard to say.

    If it’s a redial, it’s not a bad one.

The picture is not great, but I wonder about the lume mismatch of hands and dial.

The dial is fine. Linen dials can distort the look of the script. The hands are wrong though.

The case is overly polished, too.
