Everything looks correct except for the crown and the reset pusher. The crown is way too big and the pusher looks like an older replacement

This was first mentioned by somebody else on this forum, back when it was first on sale on chrono24. The guy bought it and then later sold it. Take a look through the UG threads and you'll find it.

This is apparently still for sale - has been since May as far as I can tell. (as I understand it's a small cal. 281 -34mm- which may have been overpriced).

Sorry if silly questions from a UG newbie but:

1/ doesn't that minute hand look slightly too short for the minute track? -or is that standard for "Compur"?

2/ how big of an impact are replacement crown and pushers on value? (I personally would not care much)?

I tried to locate past thread but could not find it in the volume of "Compur" threads.

    Thanks for your thoughts....

Sub-dials to me are refinished, they are too crisp and the font doesn't jive with the rest of the watch.

I think I'm edging on disagreeing with you. I think it's original, even for the fact that the subdial and indices ink is strong.

IMO the black ink just degrades slower than the coloured.

For those of you playing along at home, on page 148 of Sala is the closest dial configuration I could find to this one.. and even then there are still some inconsistencies in font, all around. That's not to say this dial isn't original, but..

Could be. After reverting to Sala, I see there are many Compur's with those "railroad"-like sub-dials. I still don't trust this one, but to each his own!

That would certainly make sense if that's the case.

Gents, thank so much for your thoughts.
Wow. what a roller coaster ride those civilian chronographs.

Having discovered vintage watches first through the world of military issued watches-- where for sure there's lots of fakes, dial swaps, part swaps and service replacements of all sorts -- at least there's a set of specs somewhere.
This feels like a wild world... Not for the faint hearted.
