Another Queensland Rail Admiralty has popped up on one of the local Facebook forums. The owner says it was a retirement gift to her Grandfather, who worked for QR. looks like another brown dial under the badly beat up crystal.

Yep, that's what I thought too.
"Bugger it! I'm retiring tomorrow, better get myself a retirement gift!"

Are you going for it at all?

Nothing in my workplace that is worth liberating upon retirement.
I don't think it's for sale. The lady was asking for advice on where to get it serviced (she's in Gladstone, QLD) while keeping its history. I'm happy with mine, which is in much nicer condition anyway.

New arrival this week. First time had one these, really like it. The red accents on the black dial and the case with crown guards are a nice touch. Shame the lug width is so unorthodox

Picked up an 166.054 in NOS condition recently. I haven鈥檛 seen as many non-Anchor versions; what time period were these produced? Are they more or less rare than the Anchor versions?

Really lovely piece! I've mostly seen these from 1969, but there may be other years. There are non-anchored versions in the grey sunburst and the other 565 bezelled models. Much less common than anchored, but no more and no less valuable. The anchor is a nice touch, though the dial is a bit cleaner without it, so 50/50.

Recently purchased this 165.038 cal 552 as I was looking for a reliable daily wearer. Price was reasonable considering condition and the awful wrong hands. Was serviced and came with the original FIXO-FLEX bracelet. Finding correct hands may be very hard but have seen them on other models such as the Dynamic with same movement. Wondering if anyone with more knowledge can advise if these would work or are there any other references I could search for as replacements

Just joined the Admiralty club, with this little beauty.

Question for people having the diver, is the bi-directional Bezel quite stiff? I don't feel any clicks, and was wondering if that quite normal.

Nice one. There aren't any clicks. Mine just moves back and forth quite easily on all of my models.

Really nice! congrats! Hey, I'm looking for one of those with the military/field dial, but in manual wound (135.015), preference to the short lugs. If anyone has one that is looking for a new home, please reach out!

Hi Paletta 122, I'm an omega enthusiast and I just saw your Omega Admiralty 135042 burgundy version. I would respectfully like to know if you are interested in selling it. If so, I would be interested in purchasing.
While waiting for a response I wish you a good day

You're new to the forums so I'll give you clue.

Your post is not only inappropriate in the general discussion but probably the member you are trying to contact won't see it.

Hi ahsposo. Yes, I'm new to the forum and sorry if I acted clumsy.
I didn't have any intent against the rules anyway.
Thanks for your advice.
My best
