A rare rivet bracelet for short horn Admiralty.
Now, I believed that the enllinks for the short horn were machined by sellers or owners to achieve the correct shape, but by looking at these I would say that they came as they are.
During my collecting journey I had two other types of 589 endlinks, so currently I can say that there exist 2 types of 18mm ones and one 17mm one.

Addition to the catalogue:

This is beyond rare, so I'm just going to dub it "The Unicorn." A double-signed piece with 565 movement. I don't know what kind of sacrifice-a-virgin-to-the-elder-gods-during-an-eclipse type voodoo one has to perform to summon it up, but it is real.

What a coincidence!...I just acquired my grail Admiralty...a manual wound non-diver short lug black dial. And guess what!?...it came with an identical rivet bracelet!

I wonder if this was a custom job, maybe from the same person who did yours as the bracelet is 18mm at the widest, but the endlinks are 17mm. Mine came from Austria (Chrono24) and I've asked the seller where he got it. I was pleasantly surprised the rivet links are stretchy!

My bracelet comes from Italy, honestly I don’t think it is custom job. By looking at the endlinks i find them there is no sign of custom work, the edges are much precise. Further the other 589 endlinks that I have on other geneve ref 1##.041 have totally different curvature, one would need to add much material to change that.

I just heard from the seller. He got it from Scdatowatch
a seller on Catawiki.
The Geneve 041 series is my other favorite Geneve model and yes, I have seen them on similar rivet bracelets. And yes that one requires an almost flat end link, very large radius inside curvature.
I'll report back on the endlink on my new Admiralty....

Well!...what do you know!...mine has the same end links as yours 589.

I'm just worried that the inner corners of the lugs are going to wear from rubbing against the widest links.

I notice that yours has 6 links above the clasp whereas mine has 7 which is too much as it's not centered on my wrist:

I'd like to remove a link, how do I do that?...
I see that a couple of the rivets are actually screws...maybe that's the secret?

Nesbit’s in Seattle confirmed that the FixoFlex expansion bracelets were the only official bracelets for these models. So there’s very little doubt that this rivet bracelet wasn’t original paired with this model. Maybe a creative Omega AD somewhere some time was doing some “custom” work and getting these rivet bracelets to fit this watch….who knows. That’s my going theory for now.
One other minor issue I’m seeing is that the clasp is just a little too narrow for the rivets of the bracelet and they don’t quite fit inside the clasp cover causing the sides to flair a little…but what’s interesting is that this clasp does look original to this bracelet despite these fit “eccentricities”…weird!

Would this be approved by Omega’s QA? I doubt it….
I have had many of these bracelets, all having 14 or 15 links and the bracelet was always connected to the last hole of the clasp.
Narrow clasp is a common problem in many Omega bracelets, for example many 1162 have the last links that don’t fit further than the fourth hole, same thing for 1159.
Is your bracelet a simple circled 11 or a 1156?

Interesting. Yes, mine also came with the clasp set on the last adjustment hole. Mine is stamped with a circle 11.

After two years of patience, I finally got a bezelled Admiralty. Even came with the original cyclops crystal!

very nice. You just need a bit of PolyWatch on the crystal if those scratches bug you, but if not, that's cool...nice pick up!
