We're going to have to expand our server resources this weekend and because it includes a hardware upgrade we are going to see some downtime as a result while equipment is swapped, it may be a couple of hours all in, we'll know more when we get closer to the date and work out the specific sequence with out datacenter. Will update with more information as we have it available

Need to prep first so most likely weekend but I'll give you more information closer to the date, last few months we've had more growth than we'd anticipated and with Baselworld 2015 coming up and the massive spike that comes with it we want to be fully prepared well in advance.
Just curious who foots the bill for all this? If I recall correctly, you aren't taking donations, but your efforts sure are appreciated!

There may be slightly reduced performance over the next 3-4 hours as we make some additional local copies of data and perform testing of the migration process

We're going to schedule some downtime Saturday midday Australia time Friday night / Sat morning US time, I'll get more specific when we here back from our datacenter on our exact time slot. There will probably be two downtime periods, the first being 20-60 minutes the second being around 15 minutes somewhat later.
New hardware has arrived at the DC working out scheduling now but we're going to try to get a slot around 5AM to 11AM UTC which is off-peak (or as off-peak as we get).
Just curious - when is the peak flow? I'm in the US so naturally think everything revolves around us ... Thanks for all the work that you guys do - it truly is appreciated world-wide.
Peak is about 10AM west coast US time on a Monday which is when all of the US + Europe is awake, has read its emails from the weekend, is depressed about 5 days of work ahead of them so skive off to read about watches instead. Watches make Mondays easier to get through.
