Hes going to show a photo in a post or two and you are gunna drool on the keyboard as 28 is not how many he has in total.!?
A pic would be great, 28 or more total should include something like a moon rock or lunar rover as part of the display I think.
Exotic dial...does that mean it has tassels or pasties on the subdials? All joking aside you are amassing an amazing collection in such a short timeframe!
He took entirely too long. Here's the thread with the photo. https://omegaforums.net/threads/1000th-post-stairway-of-speedmasters-thanks-of.30569/
I think you mixed some people up here, @gemini4 is the one with the short timeframe, @Spacefruit is in this business already longer.
Hold the phone. There is another caseback that @Spacefruit has left out of the Speedmaster Complete Set. Hope to have this delivered next week and will speak more about the 145.022-71 No Inscription Caseback.
You are right. I have never seen the smooth back medallion case back in person, and on a watch. Looking forward to seeing it.
Interestingly enough, one was sold ( by Kirill) Earlier this year but I have not located any thread on this watch. It is a rare bird.
So this is like the 3594.50 re-make caseback from the late 90's early 00's? Any idea why they did this? Was it only for the 145.022-71?
This caseback was a very short lived example that appeared between the straight writing 145.022-69 and the modern medallion caseback introduced on the 145.022-71. This no incription caseback appeared only on some 145.022-71s.
I have one. Have had three in the past couple years. Ill get a shot of the back for yall later tonight
