We had this watch come up in a recent thread. I'm not so sure about originality, but it's a good looking dial. Those cases are relatively flat so it'll be pretty comfortable to wear. How much did you win it for?

    That's a pretty good price. I wouldn't be upset at that amount - it it's a franken it's a good one, and if it's authentic & correct it's a bargain.

No, nothing jumping out at me - but manual winds aren't my thing.

Yes, that like Kyles recent square guilloche Seamaster, this is an unusual and very attractive dial, the script looks good and that the 268 is a great 30mm derivative 30t3.
The price is not significant for the watch here as it is decent and under the max you might have to pay in a bricks store.

I pointed out that watch last week. I was really close to making a deal with the seller but I just decided to hold off and kind of forgot about it. I think it's a good buy!

I agree it looks like a good buy. Beautiful dial. Anyway, you don't want to be known as a deadbeat bidder, do you? :cautious:

I made an offer on another Seamaster manual wind from the 60's but the seller ignored it and it expired. Oh well.

well done, it looks like you got a great watch at a good price. I was watching this one (Chiko raised it but then undibs) but decided there were too many I am thinking of buying at the moment so didn't bid.
I also know what you mean about not posting until after you buy. I couple of the ones I am watching closely I have not posted here as I don't want to draw the attention of the 'lurkers' to them and drive the price up. Do you think I'm better off posting them here with a dibs?

No, I think you're good to keep them to yourself. If you notice who posts what, you'll get to know the regular's purchasing style. Shoot them a PM and (a) ask for help if needed in the authenticity department, and (b) if they're already planning on making a run at it or if not that you're going to.
