So what do the august members have to say about this watch? BTW, while researching it, I found a pretty long back and forth from 2010 between the primary august folks on this forum on another forum about this model watch, so some of this is a test to see whether my tiny brain got the critical points from that discussion.
Forgot to mention, the only thing I suspect is "wrong" about the watch is it is a redial. The dial looks excellent, but the marker placement seems off a bit.
I will start off with the case then and let others fill in the rest. Well it is quite polished, to the point that the gold-cap is actually damaged on the lugs.
That would be my complaint about this piece as well, the stars on the back seem to be polished off as well. The crown is also not correct, but that can be sourced.
Case is crap. However, that dial and movement alone is worth $600-700 IMO so price while I still think is a bit too high isn't terribly so.
