Been toying with getting a IWC Cal 666, 853, 852 etc for some time. I have been monitoring a particular piece on Pirate Bay which seems well priced. There's over 100 watching it too. From a Japanese vendor with good reviews. But it's been relisted/ unsold for quite some time already. So just what am I missing?



From the 5th pic, lugs appear to be overpolished? From another 853 thread, member 'nkb' put up a very helpful check sheet on the various scripts adopted for this model. I am still trying to identify which variation the present 853 is but it is not easy as the vendor's pictures are not that clear and sharp.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA!
