Mil Sub. I know they're sought after, but I dislike the Comex logo across the dial.

(Not that I'd turn one down if offered...)

    +1 for Mil Sub

I'd love to be in a position where this was the decision that I had to make. GL

+2 for mil sub. No brainier. It's a grail piece; much more expensive than Comex.

That mil Sub lume has me wondering ... ::confused2::

Comex is always a good choice.

Such a mine field because of the prices, I prefer to play elsewhere.

I don't know- I've seen them equally priced. Right around 100k. Maybe it was an overpriced comex. I agree- the 5513 is as cool as is gets. One can only imagine what that watch has seen.

Milsub for me, more unique than a Comex IMO. 60 minute bezel, the hands, etc...

To wear? Neither. A nice 551x or 1680 suffices.

Isnt that the fun of collecting? They are both great conversations pieces.

I admit to knowing little about these but is the hour hand on the milsub correct and original to the watch? It just looks a little off to me

Unless he's buying the mil sub from James Dowling I don't believe that the image is of the specific military submariner he's considering..

The Comex Sub pic above looks suspect too - Bezel insert looks wrong, dial print looks wrong and there is no rubber o ring on the crown tube...Wrong!

Milsub gets my vote too, I think it has more mystique.

I like both but for me the MilSub wins hands down.
