Come on IWC, when do we get a real Mark XI homage?

The Hodinkee ceramic limited edition was super cool. It sold out immediately. Shouldn’t that have been IWC’s cue that there’s demand for a no date homage for the general market? Maybe hand wound, with a nice fat bezel, in steel, in 38mm?

Honestly the Mark XVIII Tribute is seriously good - I’d try finding one. Yeah, it has a date, but it’s so well integrated it would only bother a nitpicker.

I absolutely love mine.

It’s nice but the bezel is too thin for my taste. Plus I already own a Mark XV.

No date is the key.

I have the Hodinkee, but I have been actively looking for a MK 11, no substitute for vintage. The other watch that should be mentioned here is the Rake Revolution IWC (IW324019). I would have been all over this, but bronze and green dial 🤮 but it does tick the no-date and 36mm boxes for me.
