These are probably among Omega's most daring dials.
Since the 1970s, this color combination has attracted some enthusiasts because it is extremely eye-catching.
The historic Japanese version is now very rare and sought-after.
I settled for this one and am proud to have it.

This one already was high on my wishlist, it's just moved up a notch. And I was thinking I had enough Speedmasters by now. Well done, @Aditor

All of the racing dial Speedmasters, starting with the 145.012-67, are special in their own way. I have an original 1973 Mk II, and an Adam Lewis modded Speedmaster to mimic the 2004 Japan Racing dial model. Both good watches when you want something different in the Speedmaster lineup to slip on your wrist.

I think the Mark II is a very suitable watch for that dial.

Racing dials are what led me to Omegas. It started with a Breitling ref.2030 Datora, then a Speedy MkII. And finally my crown jewel of racing dials, the Japan racing.
