    @ducatiti

Super bummed! They’ve closed this boutique and are apparently consolidating inventory and staff for a pending new boutique in San Francisco.

I’m sorry to hear that the Roseville OB has closed. The staff there was really nice. A couple of years ago, the Roseville OB manager told me that they had plans for a SF OB but I thought she was blowing smoke.

As a resident of San Francisco, I am looking forward to actually having an OB nearby. On the flip side I’m going to assume that the Tourbillon Boutique in San Francisco’s days are numbered as most have already shutdown.

Sorry to see Roseville go but if they open one in SF, outside of the airport, I'll be happy with the trade. It had always surprised me that they had no real OB in the Bay Area, Roseville was the closest and its not close.

I had a lot of fun buying stuff at the Roseville boutique, but won't miss the 2 hour drive or having to walk past a Hot Topic to get there!

I'm also not sure why they chose that over an SF location, and would have appreciated the SF boutique's opening before I moved back to New York, but hey.

Ah that is a bummer! They were my closest OB. Explains why they didn’t pick up the phone or return my voicemails last week. I ended up ordering a bracelet from my local OB from when I lived in OC (Southern California).

San Francisco shop? Union Square. Union Square was(is)great. Good luck with the flash mobs.

I’d never wish the suffering you’ve endured on anyone, but it’s the example of your strength that carries the rest of us through tough times! #silverlinings

I’m guessing with tourbillion it was redundant to have both stores.

I actually had to look up where Roseville, CA was.....a suburb of Sacramento. Jeez, talk about an out of the way place. Wonder where they will locate in San Francisco, hope it's a safe locale.

Based on the zip code, the new Omega Boutique will be around Union Square. They are hiring if anyone is interested.

That's where all the luxury stores are in SF, so it's expected

I never visited the Roseville store but they seemed very helpful on the phone when I was enquiring about the new Snoopy. Being based in Fresno with my office in Silicon Valley a store in the Bay is a welcome news for me!

Anyone know/heard any planned opening date for the new SF OB? Looking forward to it, need a couple EOA’s if nothing else. The Omega website just lists as Coming Soon.

I haven’t seen an opening date but I did see that the new store is located at 103 Geary.

I was just on the phone with the OB in Costa Mesa and they said the new SF OB opens TODAY at noon! Just an FYI

That's funny because I walked by the location yesterday and I could see that they were still setting up the interior. The exterior of the OB was also covered up with black boards.

On a related note, the Omega website has the SF OB listed as a service center. That's great news for me as I have a 2254.50 in need of service.

Has anyone had the opportunity (bravery?) to visit the new Union Square location? I saw an article this weekend talking about the recent issues around Union Square and they had a pic of the new Omega Boutique, and the windows were boarded up. Most of these places are now like that and with armed guards at the door. Supposedly the area is like a ghost town, I can't imagine having to run the gauntlet to get into a watch store to view or purchase a watch, and who would want to waltz out with a red Omega bag containing your new bauble? It has to be hurting business, especially during the Christmas season when much of the sales occur.

Been there a few times already, bought a FOIS, nice OB. Busy part of town, no more concerned than I am in Chicago or similar. They weren’t hurting for business on my visits it seemed. Yes they have a guard but so does every OB or Rolex store I go to.

They will mail you the big boxes and bags if you want and you just walk out with the the watch if you're that worried. I just walked from there to Macys and back to my car, good day in SF.

I have been to the San Francisco Omega Boutique twice, with the last time being three days after the looting incident. It is a unfortunate that they had to board up the windows but otherwise it is a nice little boutique and the staff there is wonderful. I walked the two blocks from the OB to the parking garage with my red bag in hand I wasn't that concerned. The police presence in Union Square (and even inside the parking garages) is heavy so it is quite safe now.

Now if you want to see a ghost town, you should head over to the financial district. It is sad to see how many mom & pop eating establishments were wiped out by the pandemic as we work from home.
