I recently received this new acquisition this back from servicing and thought I would show it off to the collective.

This is a 9K gold Dennison cased Omega 13308 model with an early 19j version of the 501 full rotor automatic movement, on a 15.04m serial with Birmingham UK hallmarks for 1956-7. It has quite an unusual case design and is quite big for a classic dress watch at 35mm. It seems to be rather rarer than the 33mm 30T2 13322 model, which I have owned previously. I believe the design is a local production of a Swiss case design (a common practice when there were stiff import tariffs on gold) but I haven't as yet pinned down the 4 digit Omega case number for the Swiss version. I am pretty chuffed with it is as the size and auto movement makes it a much more usable piece than other dress watches of the era. The dial has a very pleasing two tone look which flips depending on the lighting and is tricky to photograph! Internal pics are pre-service:

    Any other 13308s on here?
