The clasp on my trilogy reissue Seamaster lost its springiness a while back, and thus the clasp would open without touch.

Decided a rainy Saturday night was the right time to investigate (first mistake).

Does anyone know the replacement part number for the broken spring?

Cheers

I had the exact same problem with mine. I sent it back to Omega - they had to replace the entire clasp.

If you can figure out a DIY fix, that would be great. Keep us posted!

This is something that Omega needs to fix, why would you risk the chance of the watch suddenly dropping off your wrist if your DIY repair failed, or the watch getting stuck to your wrist which has occurred to several people already? Let Omega handle it, the fix is a new clasp, imo.
