Anyone has one? I just received mine and I'm completely floored by it. The only manual wind, column wheel movement, with flyback made by Citizen back in the day. Mine came with the original bracelet too. A short production period of 1967 to 1972, means these watches are alot more rarer to say a panda 6138 or 6139.
Never really noticed this model before, although I'm a fan of Citizen watches. I had bullhead octagonal chronograph and NOS Diamond Flake. This one looks also pretty cool. Just searched what it goes for and some models in eBay are nearly 2k usd
@sdre Huge congrats on a wonderful watch! and yours looks to be in really lovely condition. Mine says hi...
a few variations exist too. Other than the specimen @tritto shows above I have a silver dialed one with a slightly different case too...
At 36mm, they are surprisingly thin for a manual wind Chronograph. Sure there aren't sub dials, it's a 1 min Chrono... But the overall design and balance is pretty cool. With a crosshair to boot!
As far as I know, there are 5-6 variations. A watch friend that lives nearby to me has all or almost all. They're a beautiful watch, but very uncommon in the scheme of things. If you look closely at the examples above, a little quirk is that the top pusher is longer than the bottom pusher. While they have a caseback, the movement comes out through the front (at least in my version).
My mate has advised that there are actually 12 variants that he's identified to date - of which he has six. Some of the variations in dials and hands are minor though. Here are a pair of his with a rare 60-1000 tachy scale. Mine above has a 60-500 scale.
Here is my Rally Custom. Guess I have to start the search for a new crystal (Sorry off topic, but I want to play)
