I have this Longines Ultra Chron for sale. I am consolidating my collection and unfortunately this one has to go.
I bought it 10 years ago and have used it just occasionally since. The watch went through a full service last week at my watchmaker in West Palm Beach (Wagner Micro Engineering) and runs like a champ. The calendar works as it should and the crown winds the mechanism smoothly.
Case: 10 K gold filled case is in very good condition for a 50 year old watch. No dings or scratches.
Case measurements: 35 mm. without crown, 17 mm. between lugs, 9 mm. height and 40 mm. from lug to lug.
Dial: Silver/Light Champagne colored dial with a soft patina. All golden indexes are present and in mint condition. Longines logo, Automatic inscript and Ultra-Chron logo are in mint condition as well.
Hands: Original to the watch. Clean and not corroded.
Crystal: Very good condition original acrylic crystal.
Caliber: Longines Cal 431 has been just serviced and keeps excellent time. Since I do not have the specific tool to open the watch I am not able to upload a photo of the caliber.
Crown: Unsigned not Longines replacement unit.
This sale if for the head only.
I’m asking $650 USD net to me insured shipping within CONUS.
FURTHER REDUCED TO $475
Other countries at cost. Paypal or bank wire only.
Watch and I are in the US and I can ship worldwide. Returns only accepted if grossly misrepresented.
This is my first sale here in OF but I have plenty of international references available upon request.
