Hi guys, I have been looking for chronostop for a while and this example popped up. Overall in good condition: - dial and hands are matching and seems to be original - case might be reworked but not too bad - pusher and crown original? - crystal, any thoughts? - papers and box looks legit but condition is a bit too good for being 50years old. Unfortunately no pic of the movement or known service history. Thanks for the help.
It may be the angle, but on your pic No. 5 the case looks like it has lost a lot of metal during the polishing process. kind regards Max
Thanks, good point. Reflections are quite strong and pics not so good. Everything else seems to add up, the case condition is the biggest question here.
Hi Tatu, I second Vienna here, the case could be better/sharper and really seems to have lost some material. Mine for comparison added, it is only 1x lapped and all edges are pretty sharp and clear. But having that said, your 145.007 is a really nice watch and aside of what the guardian of holy Omega grail in me may say, this is a nice wearer/allday beater and if the price fits to the case's deficits nothing stands against purchasing it View attachment 841630
Hi Tatu, Still hunting? Perhaps is this one worth to consider? https://uhrforum.de/threads/omega-chronostop-145-007.410161/
