Let me share with you some pictures pulled from this forum regarding the Watches for Sale section-

What I had told @Gwgroove was the Watches for Sale section of this group is from trusted sellers.
The Sellers there are verified as dealers, which is not really the same things as them being 'trusted sellers'. In my experience many/ most are 'trusted', but some others are maybe less so but had the appropriate paperwork.

That's fair. I too have found many to "trusted" seller and have made several purchases from that section. That comes down to the responsibility of the buyer to first and foremost "buy the seller."

So you verified what I said is untrue though you don't know the rules? Maybe what I said about WUS was a little loose but I have come across numerous threads on OF basically referring to WUS as a at your own risk when comparing to other forums. As a member of TRF I have seen countless for sale posts from members with a 0 post count. Comparing that information to everything I have gathered on OF (I have been a very long lurker on this forum despite my recent join date) I would trust OF to purchase watches/parts more than any other forum. That is the information I shared.

What I had told @Gwgroove was the Watches for Sale section of this group is from trusted sellers. You are saying I am wrong. Please enlighten me how I am wrong. I don't recall saying ALL watches are brand new but instead "dealers that sell genuine brand new." The fact is that yes, SOME watches in that section are used BUT those used watches come with warranties and are from dealers. AND a very large population of the watches in that section are new. As in, brand new unworn 2019/2020 watches. So please, again, enlighten me on my misinformation. How is what I said untrustworthy?

Why don't you get off your high horse and be a better contributing member to this group? Another member commented above (it was deleted) saying this is just who you are, and it's true. Searching your name in the forum yields countless results of your one line answers like "How wrong you are on just about everything you just stated." without any follow up. Those responses create more fear and anxiety especially in a new member that is trying to spend a lot of money. I think your character/personality in this forum mixed with "attacking" my posts (even though they are truthful) show who really can and can't be trusted.

Admitting to being a member of TRF really won't help your credibility here.

The fact that that is your response shows just how much of a child you are. Your name/avatar could not have been better suited.

Oh No! It can't be over already! It was just getting good. I can say that the requirements for access to the WUS seller's forum is a little lower than here. That being said, I've heard about scams on both forums, not often, but it happens.

A couple recent examples are someone on WUS posted "If you bought this watch, get your money back"; the watch in question was a Seamaster Planet Ocean superfake. The seller came forth and arranged an immediate return, not realizing he had bought a fake from another source. It was pretty obvious though, the serial had four eights in it (along with plenty of other tells).

A few months ago, some clown from Iceland was outed between users here and on TRF. I'm not sure where the original transaction was facilitated but the clown had swindled several members. I've seen scary s*it on both sites.

Yeah! That is a user from here that called out that sale on WUS. I am only a member on TRF (never posted anything and have never been on since) because I needed an account to message a user regarding a sale. I feel far more secure being here than the other two places... but it's always about buying the seller and doing the research.

Boy, you're not kidding. Some of the hen fights I've seen have festered for years.

Off topic, my first for sale ad happened to be lumped in the watches for sale section. I was wondering how it happened that way. But my second ad is now in the private sales section.

Am no dealer by any means.
