    Afternoon all,

This might seem like a silly question but i just wanted to check. From a previous post another member mentioned about using the chrono hand as a way to keep track of the date on a Speedy, would this cause additional damage to the movement at all being advanced a second each day? I know its not constantly running but wasnt sure if stopping the hand disengages the chrono fully or whether it only does that when its reset to 0 (12 o'clock) - hope that makes sense.

    Many thanks,
    Pete

That sounds utterly archaic, but I don't know of any reason that it would cause damage.

No issues doing it. Chrono stopped state is the same regardless of the position, it’s just not reset.
