I know theres a bit of a stigma against chrome cased watches out there. I know for one I usually move on from a watch if I see its chrome cased. Recently, I have had some big purchases so I have had to quench my collecting desires with lower priced pieces. I recently picked up this Vulcain in non working condition and my wm did some nice work to getting it back to working properly. Its my first chome cased watch and it looks a lot better than I thought it would. I would love to see your chrome cased watches - doesnt have to be worth a lot to bring enjoyment!

From this label never seen a second. From Heuer made with Valjoux 7765 and roulette date. In a 41mm (without crown) case.
Got a few, more chrome than otherwise . These seem to be cases best suited to Chrome rather than Gold.
Very attractive Junghans there! Mind I ask if you know what tool that is you have for holding the Waltham in place?
A few years ago I was after a caseback opening tool and was scouring eBay for a few weeks, when out-of-the-blue a Rolex “Speedy Oyster Opener” 1008 set popped up with a great BIN. It was more than I wanted to spend but at the price they were asking I couldn’t help myself. Anyway here’s a picture of someone else’s full set. Mine came without instructions, without all the plastic trays, and without the box but I’ve subsequently managed to buy a wooden inner box for it. If anyone has any inserts lying around then I’ll happy take them. So the little plastic holder is one of the case holders...
Doxa 37mm manual. A bargain purchase. Very comfortable on the wrist. Runs great. I find myself wearing it more than I thought I would.
