I used to recommend them too but unless they clean up their act I can't anymore. What's more bizarre and laughable is they refuse to accept they have a problem.

I, for a short time, thought I'd acquire a CW for my collection... Ultimately I ended up with the Lorier as a fun little holdover until perhaps a BB58 or Apollo XIII 50th if I like it.

Glad I didn't buy a CW reading this (and other) thread(s)

It's indeed a shame they've gone to the dogs but that's what happens when a brand becomes vain, ignore its fans and doesn't invest in the areas that need investing in; a very amateurish approach. Every week there's another big tale of woe from dissatisfied customers.

Found this ad in the inflight magazine, thought the watch looked pretty nice and the moonphase caught my interest.

There was even a short article about the company and the founder.
Already knew about the quality issues and how poorly the company seems to be handling these issues.

Then its a bit/very funny that they use the slogan:

    Do your research.

If all customers did they would not sell any watches.....

This would look so much cooler of it was a Speedmaster...lol

Joking aside, it isn't an unattractive piece with the exception of the damn logo at 9. Imagine how much cleaner that dial would be

The logo is a huge issue for CW fans but it doesn't seem to be affecting sales. It's their return rates and bad publicity that should be concerning. The CEOs must have a huge sandpit to take turns putting their heads in frequently. Quite bizarre really. Shame, cause when I was first introduced to the brand, about 6 years ago, they were modest and fairly priced. Having expanded their sales it seems they're unable to cope (not enough staff, not enough expertise and poorly assembled watches). Their overall denial of such issues is what's frustrating for the buyers though.

As I read the posts on the forum, I see almost all of replies to the OP who posted his issues asking OP to communicate politely and all.
I dont know what that means, I dont need to plead them to fix my watch if its under warranty. After all this why on earth people are still buying CW watches.

Not only is their QCing of watches clearly so poor, so it is of their marketing.. they've just launched three new watches to tie in with UK armed forces yet in their promotional video they show only US armed personnel and aircraft, ships etc! How embarrassing!

Some are saying it's a blatant copy of Bremont's latest and very similar release too. Shameful of Ward.

More issues. People ordering are not receiving their watches. The brand is going down the pan.
