This is interesting as all bar one of my CW watches needed repair (and consequently I own none now) ... not sure what's going on with this company (I think the brand is more keen to focus on quantity of sales than quality of what they do sell).

That turn of events seems difficult to believe! How on earth could such a should be straightforward repair turn into such a dragged out mess?

Reminds me of my first automatic, MB time walkerGMT. What stung is that I was a fan of the pens. Treated me like shit. Third try I went to CD Peacock (a dealer not a boutique) and they read MB the riot act when they failed again and tried again to charge me. Fourth trip to the repair center fixed the issue. No matter what MB produces at Minerva, or how celebrated, I will never buy another watch from them.

I was thinking "The Invicta of the Internet" but I have no reason to malign Invicta so perhaps "The Sub-continent watch of the internet".

    Christopher Ward...Daniel Wellington...
I thought this was all just Instagram trash.
Not trying to sound like a dick...but that is certainly the vibe it gives off (to me at least).

Christopher Ward is one of the first "big" microbrands to my knowledge and predates Instagram by quite a while. They've been around for about 15 years now. Definitely a different category than Daniel Wellington. I put them about the same as Hamilton. Never really been my thing.

Well I certainly don't mind my Hammy...
I just don't know much about the brand...
If they are in fact all internet based sales and advertising, I could see how Instagram would be an ideal platform for them.

They aspire to being the Rolex of the Internet. Quite a big player. Always having sales. Lots of QC and CS issues at the mo and a forum that thinks it's independent but is owned, run and funded by the brand.

Hit and miss about quality. I've owned a few and most went wrong. No longer own any as unreliable.

I aspire to being the Brad Pitt of Omega Forums. I'll give you one guess how that's working out for me.

Huge insult to Invicta to be fair. CW have been mocking many brands over the years, up and down the hierarchical ladder, so maybe karma has caught up with them. Too bad.

Oy - I wonder how Roger Smiths CQ acquisition is fairing then. Could you imagine working in the mail room and getting post from Roger saying that his watch requires attention and that you need to make a better product? ::facepalm1::

Shocking customer service. Guy sends his watch in for repair and not seen it for nine months and the brand doesn't communicate with him too. This brand has gone to the dogs and to think they brag they are up their with the likea of Omega and Tudor. Madness
