    Fellow VSOCD sufferers,

Just received my 1965 105.012 bought via Chrono24 from a seller in Denmark (my first professional speedy).

My thoughts on it, for what its worth..................
Just love the 'ghost' bezel, although the degree of weathering seems out of keeping with the dial. I have a less faded DO90 bezel which I may put on instead. The dial is in excellent condition with very even patina. Looks like a vintage replacement service dial? Case seems to be in reasonable condition. Thankfully the scary looking scratch on one of the case lugs looks less scary in person (lighting in photo?). Hands may be original? Bracelet is a 1039 with a couple of stretch links needing some TLC. Got it for US$4,300 which seemed about right.

VSOCD = having a spare DO90 even before you have your first professional Speedmaster.

    Congratulations!

Just spotted the No. 16 endlinks too. Cool.

To be candid: I buy most of the gifts which I really enjoy myself (birthday and X-mas) - so at least I receive what I really long for... :)
