·I received a call last week from a buddy of mine who had been hounding a local old rusty GMT as he called it. What was deemed “rusty” turned out to be chocolate and gold on top of that. I had first crack at the watch and after raiding the watch fund it’s all mine.
I’m looking for a chocolate and gold or silver font insert to replace the Pepsi insert so for now it’s a chocolate Pepsi. I wasn’t sure how I would like the watch but the gold against the brown dial really works for me. I think the gold case compliments the dial more than the stainless versions and ties the look together.
I had my eye on a couple other watches for the remainder of the year but sometimes the opportunity to buy certain watches at a great price is too hard to pass up.The dial is really hard to capture the color and it tends to change depending on the lighting.
