bezel takes on a bit of a brown tint in certain lights.. not as obvious as OP's, but still... hangs together.

A few years ago, I have had a chance to acquire this 2998-2

 

Wow....

 

Not a perfect piece but allows me to wear it without worries.

 

Not really a chronograph person to my shame, but those are beautiful, especially with the chocolate strap. Given my 1968 birth year, I’m going to start calling myself pre-moon.

 

Does an old caramel diver count? Sorry, not an Omega.

 

Believe it or not, the left hand one is brown too...

 

If someone has a brown DON they want to trade for a perfect Grey DON, hit me up. I think my tropical Ed White deserves a matching Brown Bezel
