Hi friends- I’m purchasing a house this year and some of the overflow has to go. Up on the blocks is a rare 2998-2 which is a bit of a mixed bag (mostly the dial). These are becoming more and more rare, and I suspect this is the first 2998-2 sold on OF in a long time. Case- Thick and unpolished. Some minor scratching but nothing major. Bezel- Base 1000 bezel in ok shape for its age. Ding at the 1000 mark, but still clearly visible. Some scuffing near 100-110. Hands- Lume is darkened on the hour, minute hands but intact. One subdial hand has sucked up a lot of grime. Movement- serviced by Simon freese in 2018. Everything runs as it should. Dial- chocolate brown. Some scattered staining. Lume plots are original but vary in color from orange to brownish green. I'm asking $25k USD, shipping and insurance included, shipped anywhere parcel pro goes. Will accept returns within 48 hours if watch is not as described (return shipping at buyers expense).
This spent some time on HQMilton, but I'm not sure it was the best Omega audience. Anyway, back up with some fancy photos and reduced price.
