I believe this is a Chinese movement. any ideas on which ‘arm’ to move to regulate the time?
Also, which way to go faster/slower?
Thanks in anticipation.
Careful that the "stud support" ,the one with the screw in the end, doesn't move.
To reword it a bit .
Be very careful that the stud support does not move while you are making your adjustments.
The stud support is the arm with the tiny screw in the end.
Of course the stud support can be moved, I'm pointing out that it should not be allowed to move.
Several of my older watches have fixed stud supports, which makes adjustment much easier so long as the balance spring is not worn or damaged.
You will get better results if you use a timegrapher to check its actual condition.
Messing with the regulator pins without a timegrapher could be catastrophic.
