Any good places to check out vintage watches?

 

New York Jewelers has some Vintage
upstairs, but not a lot. Corner of Wabash and State
have some Jewelers windows that have a few Vintage
watches in the Windows.

 

Honestly?
Not really - the places mentioned are fun to visit, but if you are hunting you will get better on your screen.
The way of the world really.

 

If you're up for it we could meet up for lunch or some thing while you're here... @adam78 , @toddle321 might you be available as well, or any other Chicago people?


Oh and about Father Time Antiques...they are right by me and I couldn't recommend them at all, as Adam said, very overpriced and overly restored watches!

 

I am pretty flexible with the exception of the morning of the afternoon/evening of the 31st, would love to join if you are getting together.

@adam78 - might breakfast or brunch on Saturday work? If not, you could call in sick..... priorities

Ed and I stopped by there once - mission impossible style laser system and one of these babies to greet you at the front door. Great patina and never polished of course, because....well, it's Adam.
