Hello everyone .... From my collection.... WW2 Chelsea US Army Message Center M1 Clock with Wood Case and Original Leather Strap. Serial # 394787 approx 1942 . 4 1/2 inch dial 8 day movement and box appears to be made out of mahogany. I just took it down form my bookshelf and gave it a few winds started right up. I have not had it serviced. Someone over the years tried to hide the US ARMY marking on the dial so there is a little blackout.. see photos ... 500$ plus shipping... Next Up ..... Very cool Seth Thomas Military Ship's Bell. WWII Movement is caliber 115A made May-1943 ( stamped on movement). 6 inch dial . Typically case was painted the matt black finish like the bezel. This example is interesting as caseback has been polished and the front knob is also metal in color to match... The clock runs and keeps time to about 1 min or so a day and strikes ships bells as it should. I have not had this serviced. 225$ plus shipping if you also want the wooden cradle that in the photo please add 40$. Payment by bank transfer, Paypal F&F Any questions please reach out ...
