Hello Everyone....

For some you know I also collect Chelsea Clocks ( It is not a secret ). I am offering here is an early 6 inch dial Commander from 1902. Serial number 6171 was sold to Theodore B. Starr New York.
This example's dial is original surface has double signatures first is the Dealers Name Theodore B. Starr New York. and second is the uncommon " C.C. Co." which stands for Chelsea Clock Company which was only done for a few years early on. Seldom seen Early Chelsea Commander model SHIP'S BELL CLOCK ALSO KNOWN AS MAHOGANY AND METAL ,6 INCH DIAL, This 1902 stunning red brass case with marine hinged bezel and original surface silvered dial painted roman numerals and classic moon hands is superb .!!this chelsea commander ships bell clock has been in my collection for years with a 7 3/8 inch hinged bezel elegantly presented on a red brass and mahogany mount.!!,,(clock weighs over 13 lbs!) make this a stunning nautical presentation!!!chelsea made these models from around 1901 and ended production in 1937!! . This model is becoming much more difficult to find!!.
It strikes Ship's Bell and keeps time....
