    You might have seen this:

Twice tonight it let go at the latch and dropped my watch, thankfully from seated height onto the carpet!

Took it off, put the watch on the strap, and tested the latch of this vintage Hadley bracelet. It was not hard to jostle it into letting go.

Please check your vintage, used bracelets and adjust as necessary so they latch tight!

What the hell are you talking about? If you're trying to be funny... you're not.

Dry humor/ satire sometimes doesn’t translate with the written word.

I added to my above post to clarify.

At least my watchmaker found you funny. He said that vintage bracelets belong in a museum!

I swapped from a strap to bracelet on a watch and didn’t confirm the spring bar was seated, was getting into my car and flexing my arm to pull the door closed was enough to pop the spring bar and I watched the whole thing fall to the asphalt.
Luckily it was a micro-brand homage I no longer own - I learned my lesson.
