So I got bored on Amazon the other day and decided to get a Perlon strap for my SKX as a precursor to sourcing for other pieces.

Oh and by cheap I don’t mean affordable but cheap as chips!!! If your looking for cheapo ways to change things up for the summer here you go.

    Well I came across this.

Yup a rubber NATOish strap. Super comfortable little wonky on keepers but actually nice. $9.95 actually and I may end up modifying and removing some of the keepers.

Also picked up this Perlon for 14.95. Little stiff at first but after wearing it nice feel and very comfortable. Be careful though watches like to slide right off it when putting it on.

Both straps next to my favorite custom matching blue stitched leather Zulu which I normally wear it on. Yes I know leather on a diver. Sue me.

Rubber nato looks great. Is there a link you can share for the seller?

Not Perlon but the canvas is comfortable and cheap ($21).
Beware the springbars though their diam is too small for old Rollies.

I am never very adventurous with straps and bracelets - I tend to stick with the OEM version.... Also the cost of alternative watch branded versions are a bit crazy looking at the materials (maybe more forgivable with bracelets). This thread is making me think about taking the plunge / more cost effective - thanks

The canvas straps here ( watchbandit) look VERY similar to those from Barton . Needless to say Barton canvas is from China.

I am a big fan of the Eulit perlon. The Palma model is heavier for the Speedy and Kristall is nice and light on a little dress watch. 20190321_152144.jpg 20190311_152045.jpg

That Barton canvas strap looks great and appears well built. May have to pick one up.

Just got this Moratello canvas (?) strap. Someone was selling cheap with some other new straps. Picked it up for the equivalent of $13.

    Love the look and texture.

I get a lot of mine from watch gecco. They have some decent NATO’s and plenty of leather lined canvas straps etc.

Loads to choose from and only a day or so delivery in the U.K.

How about this one? $10 at Amazon, cool and comfortable for the summer.
