These may be the best bargain existing today in the world of modern watches. You can pick these up for less than the cost of a cleaning on anything else.

Unlike Invictas, the hands and bracelet will actually stay together.

Its sort of like how every Harley rider at some point owned a Honda, every Omega/Rolex guy at some point wore a Seiko or equivalent, and most still have them for rainy days.

A good little beater, I got one to learn about watches, and bought four more for parts and practice.

An ultra reliable cost effective watch, looks are OK too.

Well maybe checking it straight out of the box wasn't the best idea. But now a few days on its consistently +10 per day which can't be bad for a £50 auto.

I own this vintage 70's Seiko 6139-6002 'Pogue' Chronograph that I won for less than $200 on eBay. Modern and vintage mechanical Seikos are so criminally undervalued, IMO.
