    i totally forgot about the date change rule and attempted a change after 8 . The date changed but very slowly as if was struggling and I then realised !

    Any damage ?

    Thanks - all seems ok. I believe it's 8 till 2.

    Of course, you don't have to wait - just set the time to something random that isn't between, say, 10 and 2 (or whatever the recommendation is) and then set the date, then reset the time.

    Except some say don't change the time between 8pm and 4am... Which sucks if you have a watch you never wear and are not sure if am or pm lol.

    So pull the crown to the time setting position and forward the hands through 12 o'clock, and you will know. Takes seconds to figure this out...

    I know... I'm not talking about date. I'm talking about time. ;) orient puts a note not to change the time between those hours.

    So Orient says not to pull out the crown to time-setting position and hence not to set the time ? I'd love to see a copy of that note :)

    If the date still changes manually and when you advance the date.. then it ain't broken!
