Certina DS-2 (€299)

Hi fellow OF-members 😀,

Since this lovely Certina DS-2 doesn’t get the wrist time it deserves, I would like to offer it for sale.

General info
Brand and model: Certina DS-2
Production year: about 1970
Size: 37mm without crown
Box/papers: no/no (offered head only)

Condition
-Case: some age appropriate small bumps and scratches, but overall it’s in nice vintage condition, with all brushed and polished surfaces still visible.
-Dial and hands: the watch has a subtle spider dial, visible mainly at side angles. It has a nice 70s gloss blue colour. Lume on both dial and hands is present and intact.
-Movement: Certina 25-661 hand winder. It hasn’t been serviced while in my possession, but all functions work as required. Assume a service is required.
-Crystal: I’m not sure whether it’s original.
-Crown: signed, original

Price
My initial asking price is €299 for this watch, plus shipping costs. I am located in the Netherlands. Over the years I have bought and sold a few watches through this forum, with only positive reviews.
