Certina 200 meter Diver (new model) retrofit with old blue 200 m dial and mvmt....

Always wanted to use the old blue 200 m Certina DS 3 Tritium dials and hands and Original 919 hack movement in an bigger case with turning bezel and water resistant for everyday wear..... So: bought a slightly used new Certina 200 m ..... And believe it or not: even the inner movement holder of the new model ( ETA mvmt .) takes the old certina hack movement 919 and the blue DS 3 dial. had a few spares left from previous services and the original yellow rubber ring is mounted as well. slightly thinner diameter . does the job and nothing rattles, when this setup is fixed with the new turtle case back. amazing. 2 pictures added. kind regards. Divers in the 70's had only the minute hand painted Orange for better visibility under water. Together with the turning Bezel it reminded you , when your Oxygen was used 35% . The hour hand is uninteresting when diving.
