Is it time for omega to make a ceramic braclet for the DSOTM /planet ocean series?

I cringe at the thought of having 15 "I have a chip in my bracelet" threads.

And that might as well be the answer to your question

Agree ! I also need it for my DSOTM, however, based on panerai pricing trend on the ceramic bracelet, i guess it will cost min 2k USD. I also have Rado Hyperchrome with full ceramic case & bracelet, so far 3 years old still zero scratch.

    The pricing is a problem
Its now a watch from 9800 euro with cordura from 200 euro.
With a bracklet it would be nicer, the 9300 speedmaster bracklet in ceramic would be top.

The ceramic deployant on DSOTM is exactly same tech with My rado's deployant. - Ceramic outer shell with Titanium hinge.
So i believe Omega can easily use Rado's Tech to make the ceramic bracelet since both of them owned by same boss.

I am not a fan of the ceramic look. IMHO, while choice is always good, part of the Speedmaster's decades-long popularity is its classic look. They're pushing it with ceramic cases now. Some folks I have talked to feel even these new 44mm models are outside the normal bounds of the Speedmaster look, even in SS. I've heard them called "niche" like special addition models, never intended to be mainstays of the Speedmaster lineup.

The dsm has some looks from a speedmaster,in a modern way.
I like both, but its not comparable.
A ceramic bracelet could only look good in speedmaster style:)

If Omega were to make it in the same classic style as the traditional metal bracelet, and maybe offer it as an option, great. I really did not like the look of that first one pictured.

Eh, if the DSOM was available with a ceramic bracelet it would double the price.

Yeah, the cost of the DSotM is already in the Rolex range. A ceramic Speedy bracelet would definitely be a niche accessory, and on a watch some folks already consider a niche model. Meh, I'm going with a couple straps anyway.

The Ceramic case itself is over 6k so a full constructed bracelet would be a lot and the screws and pins would surely be titanium.

And here you answer your own question... the amount of stuff that I'd like to exist, and be given... if only I didn't have to pay for it. ::facepalm1::

The pictures from the ceramic bracelet were to let see that its possible to make it.
Its not a bracelet for a speedmaster
