Speaking personally, I would need to see more than this shot before I comment. Interior of the case back, movement, etc.

it was in perfect condition, I am in watch school atm but this is my friends watch, I have a couple omegas and just bought my first Rolex, it is a SnapBack case but he didn't trust me to open it, I don't know enough about the Cellini models to comment on it, although it was all signed as it shows on the web, he just wouldn't let me open the back of the watch up to see its guts, but looks wise I love it

If it's your friend who is asking for comments on this watch, then it is pretty much up to him to make more information available in order to generate comment.

It was me mate, he doesn't understand my love for watches, he just appreciates the aesthetics so to speak, been along time since I've seen him so didn't want to over do the pictures of his watch, i just like to communicate with people who also share a passion for watches.. And thought I'd share this here 😀

I came VERY close to buying a Cellini twice - once at a 50% off sale at a local AD (bought a Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Open Heart instead) and once in Maui on vacation.

That mother of pear dial is beautiful! What year is this?

The Cellini line never seems to get much love from the watch forum community. Don't see many of them around, even on TRF. I find some of the line is quite well done, particularly those with guilloche dials. And they must sell, as Rolex continues to update.

I just bought a date just 116234 brand new, but for around 12 months since this was released at Basel, I have craved one, but the price tag is out of my reach at the minute, the new line I really believe is overlooked by the watch community, brand new movement day night indicator and overall beautiful looks and second time zone (rarely done in Rolex) , I would absolutely love one of these in my collection, the guilloche dial is also outstanding

Good looking watch, but because they are not very popular resale value is very poor.

Perfect - buy it on the pre-owned market and save a ton. 👍
