·When the watch collection already encompasses a number of watches from different brands, for most occasions, with various complications, all colors of dials and the need to extend the scope of the collecting arises, why not ensure most cases are represented in the collection?
MRP SA (aka Monnin), Genta’s octagonal, EPSA supercompressor, glass fiber, PloProf, tonneau, monocoque, Oyster case…
Some distinct cases I have or have had:
Glasfiber, also a monocoque. Long before Swatch.
EPSA Supercompressor, single crown. Unbeatable back in the day for that sporty look and you could take a plunge with it.
Rolex Oyster. Iconic. Threaded back and screwed-down winding crown.
Another EPSA, the first rectangular supercompressor. Notorious for not being completely waterproof.
