Case refinishing; is it ever a good thing

Just wanted to get some feedback on the subject of case refinishing. Is it always a "dirty word"? Let's just say you have a chronograph with a decent original dial but a beat case and crown and pushers. You also have sourced nos pushers and a crown over the years. Is a sympathetic polish (holding the original lines) and the installation of the nos case parts warranted? Just want to hear some opinions. Also if I could get a pm with the contact of a good case refinished I would be very happy. Thanks in advance.

    Don't think it's too bad
Full disclosure if sold would be warranted

@photo500 has done some great work over the years....

Depends how well it's done... and to what.

Tool watches look great beaten up... fancy stuff, not so much.

Swiss Time Services in Essex (UK) - they've done a few for me. :)
