    Hi

    I spot this watch on an website for sale and i was wandering if it's legit or a fake case?? From my knowledge omega put the reference number inside the case back all the time..but this watch looks legit to me except that case back with it's very strange for me. I google it the reference number but didn't find similar pictures. Thank you for your help on this forum.

    classic tell is omega on the outside of the caseback

    Its cal 601 which you can clearly see - it is hand wound and not automatic

    IMHO the case most likely is a fake (at least the caseback)... If you search the ODB for 166.132 or 166.0132 you get a match... but it is a SM Cosmic 2000 which looks a bit different :D

    Yes i also search on google and seen the reference number match other pictures and models but i just thought that i find a very rare watch which makes lot of money and i will get rich..:)
    Ok..conclusion...fake case back.:thumbsdown:

    I think the whole case is wrong. Look at the case clamps to hold the movement to the case.
