I have a few caravelle I really like. TBH they don’t usually command much money. I just picked a few up I liked the look of. I hope I’m wrong and yours is worth millions but if you check eBay I think you will see most models are very reasonably priced.

Not an easy question to answer. Caravelle is the little sister to Bulova. You are the best judge of about an estimated value. Add the purchase price to repair cost, and you are pretty close what might be called a reasonable price.

I like the watch, it is cool, you like it too. So all is good. Monetary value is not high, but who cares. It is a nice looking mechanical everyday man's watch. My grandpa had a jewelry store that sold watches, they sold a ton of these. Neat little piece of history, where it with pride!

Bulova also sold essentially the same watch as the $ 10.95 Caravelle with the name ARDAY, on the dial. The $ 10.95 Caravelle used a Japanese clone of the well know ETA 1080 movement pictured.

The Arday sold for $ 12.95 in the late 1950s. The founder of the Bulova Watch Co. was a New York jeweller, Joseph Bulova. His son ARDE BULOVA took over the reins, and turned Bulova into the power house it became. The ARDAY watch was named for ARDE Bulova! The watch pictured below is the Arday version of the Caravelle. It used a Japanese clone of the well known Swiss FHF 72 calibre movement. One major difference between the $ 10.95 Caravelle and the Arday, is the Caravelle has only 7 jewels, while the Arday (pictured below), had 17 jewels. The Arday was a better watch for the $ 12.95 price.
