My latest, and possibly my prettiest, from 1953 with a gold-plated movement:

    You've done it again!

All right, you know the rules... next one's mine. :)

Seriously, the gold-plated movements are uncommon. As Chris has recently pointed out, they all seem to have movement number 4217xxx.

p.s. Is that band real chicken?

MMMD, I did a Google search of images of the cal. 135. It seems there were gold-plated movements with earlier (lower) numbers, but I suspect there was a last run of them in 1953 in the 4217xxx range, as I have seen none later, and, as you point out, several right in that range, including your own.

The band, alas, is merely crocodile.

Good 'un, Chris. I'm tempted to revise my short list.

    Never revise. Just expand.
