Can tritium markers leak ? (105.003 inside)

Hi all,

I have been offered this time a 105.003.
DON bezel is missing, OK but I can find one later on. Case/Case-back look nice with sharp lugs.
But what is intriguing me is the greasy traces around markers. Can that happen or does it simply mean dial has been relumed? And if that can happen, can it be cleaned or better to leave it like this (as on the wrist, it will be difficult to see vs. macro shots)?
Here are all the shots I got so you have an holistic picture (@Dan S I don't always agree but still listen 馃檮)

Cheers from Paris

I think shadow of the plots which may be evidence of stabilisation or perhaps removal and reluming.

In addition to the question of what caused it鈥攍ooks like a sloppy stabilization job鈥攊s the question of whether you like it. To me it kinda ruins it. I suppose if it鈥檚 cheap enough, though...

Asking as it would be natural, or cleanable, I like it.
But if not natural AND I can't clean it, then I leave it aside.

That鈥檚 um, sort of what you get when you don鈥檛 put FishFingers on a paper towel

As noted by Eug above: Not natural and not cleanable. That is not original Ed White lume. The real thing has a wobble usually.

Dial has been relubed.
I am guessing that wasn't a typo but a funno.

I wouldn鈥檛 take this to the bank. Seen a lot of beauts with zero wobble, and a lot with.

Not really related, but adding 7205 to Ed White looks very odd. If the owner is happy with such a mismatch, he(or she) is not a purist who cares about the original parts/lume.
